Sikh Heritage

Prior to 1984, the Sikh Reference Library served as the spiritual repository of the Sikhs, housing over 20,000 literary works, including thousands of rare manuscripts and handwritten saroops. Following its tragic destruction and alleged looting during the events of June 1984, the Sikh community has engaged in a decades-long, persistent struggle for the return of their stolen intellectual and spiritual heritage, navigating decades of empty assurances and deep-seated distrust.
