We enter the month of Poh (mid-December to mid-January), and in many places around the world, the winter is getting harsher, more hardened. Whatever was green around us is all dried out now, frozen and unable to grow.
When we are children, we find ourselves leaning into our stubbornness. We may feel a resistance to being told what to do. We are hard-headed and inflexible. As adults, this tendency may reveal itself in certain moments.
