Panth Sewak personality Bhai Narien Singh Chaura was released on bail today (26 March 2025) from District Jail Ropar. He was arrested by police on December 4, 2024, after allegedly attempting to attack former Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) president Sukhbir Singh Badal outside the Ghanta Ghar side of the Darbar Sahib complex in Amritsar. Following a 12-day police remand, he was transferred to District Jail Ropar under judicial custody.
