Students of Punjab University (PU) raise voice for release of Sikh political prisoners

Chandigarh (December 21, 2013): According to Indian Express (IE): [s]students of Panjab University (PU), led by members of Students for Society (SFS), protested at the varsity's Student Centre on December 20, 2013 to express their solidarity with the ongoing protest at Mohali for the release of Sikh political prisoners languishing in jails across Punjab.

Advocate Gurjinder Singh Sahni told SSN over phone that Gurpreet Singh’s bail was secured today from the Ludhiana police administration and he was released from jails.
