Amb Sahib, Mohali (December 20, 20130: As per recent information received from the site of Bandi Singhs Rihai Morcha (Amb Sahib) Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, who is on continuous hunger strike from November 14, 2013 has started facing difficulty in breathing.

SYP demands judicial inquiry into Bhola’s confession about involvement of Punjab ministers in drug racket

Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab (December 20, 2013): The Sikh Youth of Punjab (SYP) has demanded an inquiry by sitting judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court to look into Jagdish Bhola's confession that three Punjab cabinet ministers were involved in the drug racket.

Kapurthala/ Nabha, Punjab (December 20, 2013): Certain significant developments have taken place regarding demand of release of Sikh political prisoners whose permanent release is being demanded by Sikh activist Bhai Gurbaksh Singh who has been on hunger strike since November 14, 2013.

Gujarat government to defreeze 52 (out of 800) Sikh farmers’ land

Chandigarh (December 20, 2013): According to certain media reports the Gujrat Government has decided to defreeze the land of 52 Sikh farmers in the Kutch region.

New York, United States (December 20, 2013): Various diaspora Sikh organizations based in United States have issued a joint statement supporting the cuase of Sikh political prisoners taken up by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh, who is on fast unto death since November 14, 2013 at Gurdwara Amb Sahib Mohali. Gurbaksh Singh is seeking release of 6 Sikh political prisoners languishing in Indian jails despite serving full terms of their sentences.

Amb Sahib, Mohali (December 20, 2013): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) Bhai Gurbaksh Singh, who is on continuous hunger strike since November 14, 2013 seeking release of 6 Sikh political prisoners who are languishing in various jails in India despite having completed the terms of their sentences, has written a letter to Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav seeking release of Wariam Singh.
