A three-day seminar was held at Mastuana Sahib under the banner of Akal College Council and various Sikh organizations, focusing on the ideology, structure, and rejuvenation of the “Shiromani Akali Dal.”
In this significant event, Parmjeet Singh Gazi delivered a powerful lecture outlining the historical foundation of the Shiromani Akali Dal and its evolution over time. He clearly stated that the true Akali Dal belongs to those who are fearless, selfless, and committed to the Sikh cause — not to political outfits working under the influence of central governments.
Parmjeet Singh Gazi emphasized that any party operating under the name “Akali Dal” but functioning within the framework of Indian central politics may solve regional or political issues of Punjab but cannot address the core religious and spiritual concerns of the Sikh Panth.
He further elaborated that only those Akali factions that stand on the principles of sacrifice, service, and dedication can truly protect and manage Sikh religious institutions and Takhts. This discourse calls upon the community to reflect upon its leadership, priorities, and direction for the future.
