A Jatha of Sikh personalities related to Sikh struggle organized a discussion (Vichar Goshti) on 21 October 2022 on "Akal Takht and Akali: Present situation and future course". Speaking during this event, Bhai Paramjit Singh Mand, spokesperson of Dal Khalsa, said that Akal Takht Sahib should be free from control of political and religious election parties.
