After suspending public transport services for Monday (April 02), the Punjab Government further ordered a security clampdown across the state in view of Monday’s bandh.
In view of the call for Bharat Bandh on April 2, the Punjab Government has decided to suspend the services of public transport across the state on Monday.

In view of the Bandh Call on April 2, against the dilution of SC/ST Atrocities Act, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh appealed the people of the state, especially the members of so-termed SC community, to keep restraint.
