Indian agencies kept Harjit Masih, a Punjab who was abducted by ISIS in Iraq last June, but somehow escaped the death clinches of ISIS, under detention in Noida and Gurgaon at the pretext of threat to his life. He also said that the chances of survival of 39 other persons abducted by ISIS were bleak as they were all shot four or five days after their abduction.

Police, people clash near Sidhwan Bet; more than 30, including 12 cops injured

More than thirty people, including 12 police personnel received injuries in a clash between villagers and the police at Kannian Hussaini village, near Sidhwan Bet. The police had reportedly gone to the village to assist the local administration in getting vacated the land allotted to the family of Sino-Indian war veteran Bhag Singh so that its possession could be handed over to the martyr’s family.

NZ Sikh used Dastar (Turban) to help injured child

A Sikh man in New Zealand used his turban to help an injured child. According to media reports a child was hit by a car outside a primary school. Injured child's head was bleeding after he hitting the road. On seeing this, Harman Singh removed his turban and used it to stop bleeding.
