AAP leader HS Phoolka questions Punjab CM Badal on somersault on SIT for 1984 cases

A press release by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and senior lawyer advocate HS Phoolka says [o]n 28th January 2014, S. Parkash Singh Badal made a statement in district Muktsar “hardly any need for it (SIT probe) as several earlier high-level inquiries conducted on the matter have pointed towards the role of Congress leaders in this planned mass massacre of Sikhs".

India’s Central Govt. forms 12th penal, SIT, to re-probe Sikh genocide 1984 related cases

The Indian government has set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for re-investigation into the November 1984 massacre related cases in Delhi and other states. An order was issued on Thursday (Feb. 12) by Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh announcing the formation of the SIT.
