Kashmir: Youth Killed, another injured in firing by Indian Security Forces

A 19-year-old youth was today killed and another injured when security forces fired at demonstrators who were protesting on the second anniversary of Afzal Guru's hanging in Palhalan area of north Kashmir Baramulla district.

Gurdaspur police files chargesheet agianst Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo in Purana Shalla case

Harminder Singh Mintoo was today presented in a Gurdaspur court. The police has presented chargesheet against Bhai Mintoo in a case registered under FIR No. 83, dated 15-09-2013 under sections 17, 18 and 19 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, 1967; sections 153-A and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1872 and section 25 of Arms Act. The case was registered at police station Purana Shalla, district Gurdaspur.
