Ottawa, Canada (December 13, 2013): According to information sent to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) by Human rights and advocacy group, Sikhs For Justice, [o]n the eve of International Human Rights Day, Bibi Jagdish Kaur witness and survivor of November 1984 presented evidence of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar’s role in genocidal attacks on Sikhs to the Canadian Lawmakers.

New Delhi, India (December 10, 2013): On World Human Rights Day, Sikh groups submitted a Memorandum to Ms. Lisa Grande, UN Resident Coordinator-India, urging her to report to the Human Rights Council about Congress party’s ongoing practice of protecting and rewarding its leaders who lead death squads in 1984.
