The debate surrounding depiction of Sikh Gurus is in focus again, especially in wake of controversy over upcoming movie Nanak Shah Fakir. Nanak Shah Fakir is a movie by Harinder Sikka who claims that the movie depicts the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Ji. The SGPC has already rejected this movie as it violates Sikh traditions under which Sikh Guru Sahib can not be depicted as a character of any play or movie etc.
