Ludhiana (July 17, 2012): A Jalandhar based Punjabi daily’s senior staff is proactive now-days to pacify Sikh outrage against Kuldip Nayar due to unwarranted and outrageous claims made in his recently released auto-biography titled: “Beyond the Lines – and auto-biography”.

It is worth mentioning that even the press statement, which was termed as apology by Kuldip Nayar was also issued by Satnam Manak, a senior journalist working with this Punjabi daily that has close relations as well as ideological equations with Kuldip Nayar on the issue of Punjabiyat.

Representatives of certain Sikh organizations told Sikh Siyasat that senior members from this newspaper called them personally, urging them to roll-back the protests planned against Kuldip Nayar.
