What Government, Industrialists and Common People Need to Do to Save Punjab Waters? Baba Sewa Singh

Punjab is facing severe water crisis. Over 80% of Punjab’s rural development blocks are categories as ‘over-exploited’ in terms of ground water extraction. In this view using rain water, especially rain water collected from roofs of buildings, for ground water recharge is being advised. A team of Agriculture and Environment Center visited Khadoor Sahib on 7 June 2021 during the Center’s Jal Chetna Yatra initiative.

Water & Soil Conservation Discussion on Nature Conservation Day: S. Avtar Singh Phagwara (Good Grow)

Agriculture and Environment Awareness Centre organized a discussion on conservation of water and earth of Punjab on 28 July 2021. This event was held on World Nature Conservation Day 2021. Environmentalists, including United Nations' Faith for Earth Counselor Baba Sewa Singh (Kaar Sewa Khadoor Sahib); farmers, civil society representatives and activists participated in this discussion and shared their experience and views for conservation of water and earth of Punjab.

Sikh Vision of Freedom: Sewa, Simran, Beghampura & Halemi Raj To Ensure End of All Forms of Slavery

Participating in two day session of Bharat Mukati Morcha on the invitation of BAMCEF, Panth Sewak Jatha Doaba's sewadar Bhai Mandhir Singh addressed inaugural session on 28th December 2021. He shared Sikh vision of freedom and said that through Sewa and Simran one can free oneself from bondages of slavery and a society based on the principle of 'Beghampura' and an administration/state based on principle of 'Halemi Raj' would ensure end of all forms of slavery. New Jersey Senate Passes Resolution Recognising the Fact of Sikh Genocide 1984

The Senate of New Jersey has adopted a resolution recognising the fact of '1984 Sikh Genocide'. The Senate Resolution Number 142 was introduced in senate by Senator Stephen M. Sweeney on January 6, 2022. It was adopted by voice vote on January 10, 2022. The resolution condemns November 1984 anti-Sikh violence in India as "genocide".
