A 25 years old girl was killed in Punjab police firing on a Swift car at Nawan Gaon near Samana in Patiala district. The police opened firing at a Swift car in which a girl named Neha was killed. Another person travelling in car and a passerby motorcyclist also sustained bullet injuries.
Sukhbir Badal said that the police had an encounter with Nabha jail escapees at a place but he did not disclosed any further details, including the place of the encounter.
