Panj Pyaras of Akal Takhat today adopted a Gurmata and issued directions to the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandk Committee (SGPC) to terminate services Giani Gurbachan Singh and other persons holding posts of Takhat Jathedars, who were involved in announcing pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim.

Behbal Kalan firing: Faridkot police did not upload FIR against police on website

The Punjab police (on Oct. 21) announced to have registered an FIR regarding Oct. 14 police firing at village Behbal Kalan. A press release issued by the police (see below) did not disclose that whether police personnel responsible for the firing have been named in the FIR or not.
