Sikh leader Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj escapes attack by Badal Dal activists

Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj, senior vice president of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani (ADPP) was reportedly attacked and shot at by some persons on May 16. Police has reportedly registered FIR no. 65 of 2015 at police station Nathana against seven persons namely Baljeet Singh (s/o Harban Singh), Baljeet Singh (s/o Mohinder Singh), Nonihal Singh Sarpanch, Jeevan Singh, Niranjan Singh and two unknown/ unidentified persons.

Bhog and Antim Ardas of Bapu Tarlok Singh, father of Shaheed Satwatn Singh, was held at on May 18. Thousands of Sikhs gathered at village Aghwan (near Dera Baba Nanak) to pay tributes to Bapu Tarlok Singh.
