Saffron U-turn: Now Punjab BJP opposes release of Sikh Political Prisoners

Punjab's BJP leaders have opposed the premature release of Sikh political prisoners serving life term. With a clear announcement in this regard the saffron party has departed it’s ways from its ally Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal). SAD (B) has been urging other states and the central government of India to release certain Sikh political prisoners on humanitarian grounds.

As per recent reports from Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib in Ambala the Haryana police and civil administration today hospitalized fasting Sikh activist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa.

WSO Condemns Racist Vandalism of Edmonton Gurdwara

The World Sikh Organization of Canada condemns the racist vandalism of the Sri Guru Singh Sabha gurdwara in south Edmonton. Two phrases, including “Leave Canada”, were found spray-painted on the outside of the gurdwara on January 09.
