Police claims arrested “Khalistanis” admitted funding from abroad

Jalandhar, Punjab (August 19, 2014): According to Jalandhar police Sikhs who were arrested on August 4 from Jammu "revealed" during police interrogation that their group had received funds from United Kingdom, Malaysia and Spain for completion of their so-called plans to strike Jalandhar and Anandpur Sahib.

Pakistan terms cancellation of mutual talks as setback to Indo-Pak ties

New Delhi, India (August 19, 2014): Pakistan has expressed concerns over cancellation of 25 August Foreign Secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan. Talks were cancelled by India after Pakistan invited pro-freedom Kashmiri leaders for “consultations”. Pakistan has described the cancellation of next week's Foreign Secretary-level talks as a "setback" to Indo-Pak ties.
