Jagir Kaur going ahead with ‘illegal’ construction despite HC stay: alleges Sukhpal Khaira

Kapurthala, Punjab (August 14, 2014): According to a news reported by YesPunjab.Com, an online news portal, former minister and ex-president of the SGPC Bibi Jagir Kaur is going ahead with construction on a 22 acre prime commercial land of Nagar Panchayat Begowal by violating the interim stay ordered granted by Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Gold and Cash goes missing from Gurdwara Nada Sahib; Partap Bajwa demands high level probe

According to a news reported by YesPunjab.Com, [t]he Punjab Congress President, Partap Singh Bajwa, while demanding a high level inquiry into the gold and cash missing from the historical Nada Sahib gurdwara in Panchkula in Haryana, said it had reinforced the allegations against the Badals of misappropriating gurdwara funds.
