UK: Labour party’s Rob Marris Calls for Public Inquiry into UK links with Amritsar Massacre of June 1984

London, United Kingdom (March 07, 2014): According to information shared by the Sikh Federation UK: Rob Marris the Labour’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Wolverhampton South West constituency, has hit out at the UK Government in a letter regarding it’s recent inquiry by Cabinet Secretary into British involvement in June 1984 attack on Darbar Sahib / Harmandar Sahib by Indian Army.

Punjabi movie ’47 To 84 – Ek Peed’ banned by India’s Central Board of Film Certification

Chandigarh/ Punjab (March 07, 2014): It is learnt that India's Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has banned Punjabi movie '47 to 84 – Ek Peed'. The movie is said to be based on sufferings of people who witnessed partition of 1947 and mass massacre of 1984.

United Sikhs grants scholarships to Sikh Students in Pakistan
