Various Sikh preachers visited Bhai Gurbaksh Singh in last two days to show solidarity with the cause of Sikh prisoners

Mohali, Punjab (December 30, 2013): It is learnt that Sikh preacher Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale visited Bhai Gurbaksh Singh on November 30, 2013 at Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Ajitgarh (Mohali). It is notable that various other Sikh preachers including former Jathedar Prof. Darshan Singh and various leaders of Sant Samaj have also visited Bhai Gurbaksh Singh whose hunger strike completed 18th day today.

Jagdev Kalan, Amritsar (December 1, 2013): Shashi Kant, former Punjab DGP (Prisons) reportedly said on November 30, 2013 during a public function held at Jagdev Kalan village in Amritsar district, that a campaign named “Save the Sons” would be launched on December 15 to save the sons of the state from drug abuse.

Gurbaksh Singh’s health started deteriorating; Police attempted to hospitalize him; Sikh bodies to sit on hunger strike in solidarity

SAS Nagar/ Mohali, Punjab (December 01, 2013): Bhai Gurbaksh Singh's fast unto death, seeking release of Sikh prisoners who are not being released from various jails in India despite completing terms of their sentences, has entered 18th day now. He is on hunger strike since November 14, 2013 at Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Mohali.
