India: Sikh protests continued in Delhi for 4th day over Sikh genocide accused Indian politician’s acquittal

New Delhi, India (May 03, 2013): As per media reports anger and outrage over Congress leader Sajjan Kumar's acquittal in an November 1984 Sikh massacre related case poured into Delhi streets for fourth day on May 03, 2013, with one of the victims of Sikh genocide 1984 starting an indefinite fast at Jantar Mantar.

Sajjan Kumar’s acquittal – Sikhs protested outside Congress president’s residence

New Delhi, India (May 03, 2013): On May 02, 2013 the Delhi witnessed mass protests by Sikhs in wake of acquittal of Sikh genocide accused Sajjan Kumar by an Indian court. Sajjan Kumar was inter-alia facing charges of murder and conspiracy along with five others. The court convicted other accused persons but acquitted Sajjan Kumar.

India: Pakistani Prisoner attacked by jail inmates; Condition critical; Reportedly in Coma
