India: 93 years old Sikh sentenced for 10 years rigorous imprisonment under TADA

Ludhiana, Punjab (November 21, 2012): Dr. Assa Singh, aged 93, could barely walk without support of some other person. He stood on trial of a 1987 bank robbery case for more than 25 years. Police had accused him for handling money allegedly robbed by Sikh militants from a Ludhiana branch of Punjab National Bank on February 12, 1987.

Ajmal Kasab hanged, buried in Yerwada Jail Pune; Execution came a day after India opposed UN resolution against Death penalty

Ludhiana/Pune (November 21, 2012): A day after Indian State opposed UN resolution against abolition of death penalty, India has carried the execution of Ajmal Kasab a death row convict in 2008 Mumbai attacks. This execution has breached the de facto moratorium on death penalty observed in India after the execution of Dhananjay Chaterjee in 2004.

Oak Creek, Wisconsin Gurudwara terror strike investigation report released

Oak Creek, Wisconsin (November 21, 2012): According to information Teresa Carlson, special agent in charge of the FBI's Milwaukee office, announced on Tuesday, (November 20, 2012) that the agency has finished its probe into the Oak Creek, Wisconsin shooting on August 5, 2012, that killed six Sikh worshippers and injured four individuals.

3 Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) followers arrested for attacking Sikh at Jiwan Nagar

Sirsa/Haryana (November 20, 2012): According to reports the police has arrested three persons in connection with an attack on five Sikhs by Dera Sauda Sirsa followers near Jiwan Nagar.
