Anandpur Sahib/Ropar: In an effort to revive the long-standing tradition of internal dialogue and discussions among Khalsa Jathas and the Sikh Sangat, the Panth Sewak Jatha Doaba (PSJD) has announced the upcoming Subaad Sabha (discussion) to be held on March 11 at Sri Anandpur Sahib. The gathering will focus on addressing current issues affecting the Sikh community and the management of key Sikh institutions.
Historically, gatherings at Anandpur Sahib during Holla Mohalla and at Sri Amritsar during Bandi Chhor Divas provided a platform for Khalsa Jathas to engage in constructive dialogue on vital issues, fostering joint understanding and consensus. Over time, however, this important tradition gradually faded. Now, certain dedicated groups, including Panth Sewak Jatha Doaba, Bibekgarh, Sikh Shahadat, Panth Sewak Jatha Majha, Lakhi Jangal Khalsa Jatha, and Sikh Jatha Malwa, are taking active steps to revive it.
Talking to the Sikh Siyasat News over phone Bhai Mandhir Singh of Panth Sewak Jatha Doaba explained the purpose of the Subaad Sabha.
Bhai Mandhir Singh stated, “The goal of this gathering at Sri Anandpur Sahib on March 11 is to provide a common platform for Sikh jathas, organizations, and institutions to deliberate on the current state of disarray and chaos in the management of SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib. By coming together, we hope to foster a shared understanding and work toward solutions.”
