The Arts Gallery and Museum hosted an Arts Exhibition titled as “Panj Rang” for two weeks- from February 14 to 28. The exhibition comprises the display of paintings and sculptures young artists of Punjab.
University Grants Commission (UGC) on Feb. 22 cleared a proposal which will allow universities to set up a chair to promote the ideals of Deendayal Upadhyaya, one of the founders of Bharatiya Jan Sangh, the earlier avatar of the BJP.
As per media reports two Dera Sauda Sirsa followers were shot dead by unidentified persons in village Jagera in the police district Khanna. Duo, who were father and son, reportedly died on the spot.
