The Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI) held a special book conversation on its latest publication, Guru Gobind Singh Sahib: Life, Vision & Wisdom, on Thursday, 15 January 2026, at Punjab Kala Bhawan in Sector 16, Chandigarh. The event was attended by the members of the media and the wider public to engage with a reflective dialogue that goes beyond historical narration to explore the contemporary relevance of the teachings and vision of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib.
The conversation was centered on understanding Guru Gobind Singh Sahib as a living source of courage, ethical leadership, sovereignty, and love—values that continue to resonate strongly in today’s complex social, political, and moral environment. Through shared inquiry and thoughtful discussion, the gathering aims to reflect on what it means to live with dignity, clarity, and responsibility in present times.
The discussion will feature the book’s author, Harinder Singh, Senior Fellow at SikhRI, who will share insights from his work and research. He will be joined by Roopinder Singh, one of Panjab’s literary voices and an author and journalist.
