Chandigarh/ Maharashtra: Whereas the global Sikh circles have expressed outrage over appointment of Hindutva/ RSS man Tara Singh (BJP MLA) as chairman of management board of Takhat Hazoor Sahib, Congress party’s leader and former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh has supported the controversial decision of Government of Maharashtra selecting Tara Singh for the Sikh religious post.

While interacting with the media Capt. Amrinder said that SGPC and Badals were not doing any ‘Sewa’ and their prime focus was to raise their personal properly. He said Maharashtra government was ‘efficiently’ handling affairs of Takhat Hazoor Sahib.
