Belgium: An upcoming community dialogue will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM to discuss the official recognition of the Sikh religion in Belgium. The gathering will take place at Gurdwara Sangat Sahib, located at Diestersteenweg 71 in Sint-Truiden.

The event features special guest Bhai Moninder Singh, a speaker for the Sikh Federation Canada and spokesperson for British Columbia Gurdwaras, who is visiting from Canada. The primary goal of the meeting is to engage the local congregation (sangat) in exploring a clear, united way forward to achieve formal religious recognition within the country.

Sint-Truiden serves as a highly relevant location for this dialogue, as it is home to the largest Sikh community in Belgium.
