Nawanshehr: A local court on Friday sent Surjeet Singh alleged aide of Arvinder Singh ‘Mitha’ to judicial custody. Surjeet Singh was produced in court amid tight security after the expiry of his police remand.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawanshahr) deputy superintendent of police Mukhtiar Rai and Rahon station house officer Gurdial Singh were leading the police team.
The police alleges that Surjeet Singh was an operative of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
