The Sikh Network has conducted a survey of over 1,500 Sikhs after the government published its’ COVID-19 recovery strategy last Monday on how the government has handled the COVID-19 crisis from a Sikh community perspective.
In 2014 the German authorities found that a person was spying on Sikhs and Kashmiris for Indian agencies. Since then around four such cases have surfaced in Germany. In these cases German authorities have charged these 'agents' in courts.
Former Punjab Police chief Sumedh Saini appeared before Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday (May 17). He was summoned by SIT for questioning in Balwant Singh Multani enforced disappearance case.
