The Government of India (GoI) had announced to release eight Sikh political prisoners who have been kept behind the bars despite having completed minimum mandatory terms of their sentences. One such prisoner, Bhai Nand Singh- who was undergoing 'improvement for life' and had completed minimum mandatory term of his sentence was released from Central Jail Patiala last night.
