Shocks of earthquake were felt in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi Jammu and Kashmir and other regions in northern parts of the Indian peninsula.
Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) president Simranjit Singh Mann has welcomed China's more to open visa centre in Lahore in West Punjab. He urged China to open a similar centre in Amritsar in East Punjab also.
