Sikh sangat’s demand to stop animated movie “Dastan-E-Miri-Piri” depicting Sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Ji and Gursikhs like Baba Bidhi Chandi Ji in cartoon/animation mode is gaining support from different quarters. Dal Baba Bidhi Chand Ji Sampardai chief Baba Avtar Singh Ji has qurested to Jathedars of Sikh Takhts to stop ‘Dastan-E-Miri-Piri’ film saying that it was a grave violation (of Sikh tenets) to depict Guru Hargobind Ji in this film.
The Pakistani authorities have reportedly completes 90% work for the construction of Kartarpur corridor, which will connect Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur Sahib in West Punjab to Gurdwara Darbar Shaib, Dera Baba Nanak in East Punjab.
