Khadoor Sahib Nishan-E-Sikhi Students Excel in PMET Exam

Students of Khadoor Sahib Nishan-E-Sikhi Institute of Science Studies running under patronage of Baba Sewa Singh Kar Sewa Wale have secured high ranks in result of state level PMET examination. A total of 16 students have cleared the examination.

Amitoj Mann, the director of “Hawayeen” (2003) has come up with his latest Punjabi movie "Gaddar - The Traitor". Tag line of the movie title reads: Jo beejiya oh vadna pau... English translation of a portion of Prof. Harinder Singh Mehboob's book “Sahije Racheo Khalsa” was released yesterday at Fatehgarh Sahib. Book titled “Sikh Scripture – a revealed history of World Religions” is translated version of “Majhaban Da Safar” (Journey of religions).

Attari Railway station renamed after Sirdar Sham Singh Atariwala

Punjab government has reportedly renamed Attari railway station in Amritsar as "Attari Sham Singh" railway station in a tribute to the great Sikh General. Atari railway station is located at India-Pakistan border. It's last railway station in East Punjab linking to Wagha railway station on the other side of border in West-Punjab side.

In yet another bid to contain Sikh diaspora activism, the Indian government has blocked Facebook page of a Sikh website NeverForget84.Com. This page titled as ‘NeverForget84’ (url: https://facebook.com/shaheed84) has more than 94,900 Likes (or followers).
