After making a wrongful proclamation that the Akal Takht Sahib has extended support to Nanak Shah Fakir movie, Harinder Sikka maker of controversial movie "Nanak Shah Fakir" now maintains that his film was written, directed and produced by Guru Nanak's blessings.

Upcoming movie "Nanak Shah Fakir " is caught into huge controversy as the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has expressed serious concerns regarding the movie. SGPC Avtar Singh Makkar said that the SGPC has already rejected the movie.
