J&K: Sikh Forum opposes National Conference decision to hold Gurdwara election in December

Srinagar (October 25, 2013 – Mir Iqbal): It is learnt that the Sikh Minority Forum of district Pulwam in Jammu and Kashmir has rejected the National Conference (NC) Minority Cell’s decision to hold elections for Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee in December this year and accused some vested interested community members for politicizing it for their personal interests.

British Sikh woman killed by speeding police bike in London

London, United Kingdom (October 25, 2013): It is learnt that a 78-year-old British Sikh woman died after being hit by a speeding police motorcycle in London. After a week-long inquest into Harbhajan Kaur's death, police found that nobody was to blame and described her as a victim of a "tragic accident".
