Amritsar/Punjab (November 18, 2012): Terming the situation alarming, the ‘Sikh Youth of Punjab’ (SYP) has resolved to take proactive steps to tackle menace of drugs and apostasy in youth.

Ludhiana, Punjab (November 18, 2012): According to information available with Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) a local court in Punjab is scheduled to hold hearing for summoning Ajay Devgn, an actor-cum-producer in Hindi cinema, on a criminal complaint moved by Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema through his council Advocate Navkiran Singh.

Nankana Sahib/Lahore, Pakistan (November 18, 2012): According to media reports the Pakistani authorities have made special security arrangements for trains that would be bringing about three thousand Sikhs from India to Pakistan to participate in the events observing Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Gurupurb.

Jalandhar, Punjab (November 18, 2012): The Dal Khalsa has lauded Burmese iconic leader Aung San Suu Kyi for emphasizing on people to people relations rather than the governments. It also appreciated Nobel laureate for taking a jibe at ‘India’ on latter’s double standards vis-à-vis gross human rights violations in Burma.
