Chandigarh, Punjab (December 23, 2011): Punjab had a bitter experience of manipulation of elections process during SGPC elections held on September 18, 2011. Thousands of legally ineligible persons voted during SGPC elections, and complaints to the relevant Election Commission and even Home Ministry of India was never entertained.
