Ludhiana (December 6, 2009): A section of media has raised question on role played by the administration during yesterday’s incident. A media report says that had it not been laxity on part of the administration, loss of life could have been prevented while controlling the Sikhs protesters on Saturday.

Bihar asked Punjab to explain the sitation over security of ‘Bihari Labour’ in Punjab

Ludhiana (December 6, 2009): According to some media reports the Bihar government has rushed a two-member fact-finding team to Ludhiana, a day after migrant labourers from the state clashed with police and locals over alleged failure of the local administration to provide them protection from robbers’ gang.
