Ludhiana (May 30, 2011): Sikh bodies have started meeting to discuss the situation emerged after President of India’s decision to deny clemency to Prof. Devinderpal Singh Bhullar who is sentenced to death on no reliable evidence.

“Representatives of various organizations have arrived which shows that this matter does not relate to any single individual rather it is an issued related to whole Sikh nation” said Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema of SAD (Panch Pardhani).

“We are hopeful that some logical conclusions would be drawn from today’s meeting” he added.

Representatives of various Human Rights Organzaitons, Panthic bodies, Religious organizations, Farmer’s Association, Political organizations, students’ bodies, Lawyer’s association and Sikh intellectuals are attending the meeting.
