Chandigarh: Heavy sleet fall is reported from parts of Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur and Ferozepur districts of Punjab. People have shared images and videos on social media networks like Facebook which shows that fields are covered with sleet/snow.
The region has been witnessing scattered rainfall for past few days as a result the mercury has considerably dropped in the region and cold wave has grown stronger.
