A Gurmat Samagam was held on 3 June 2025 at Gurdwara Sahib, Village Bhamme Kalan, District Mansa, Punjab. Speaking during this samagam Bhai Mandhir Singh shared his views on the changing global and regional landscapes, including shifts in international politics, geopolitics, and regional stability. He highlighted Punjab’s geostrategic position and its vital role in the geopolitics of the South Asian region. He emphasized that Sikhs are becoming increasingly relevant in these evolving scenarios—not only because of their significant demographic presence in eastern Punjab, but also due to their rich political history. Referring to recent air clashes between India and Pakistan, he noted how such incidents have exposed the vulnerabilities and challenges Punjab faces in these uncertain and unstable times. He also offered insights and recommendations on what Sikhs and the people of Punjab should do to safeguard their interests and work toward a better, more secure future.
