AMRITSAR — Marking a significant historical milestone, pro-freedom Sikh organizations on 29th April 2029 released a comprehensive policy document titled “Khalistan: Sidhant, Virasat Ate Bhavikh” (Khalistan: Vision, Legacy, and Future) at the Akal Takht Sahib.

The joint release was organized by the Panch Pardhani Jatha, Dal Khalsa, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), the Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara Committee, and the Akal Federation. The event was held to observe the 40th anniversary of the 1986 declaration of Khalistan.

This publication fulfills a commitment made by the organizations earlier this year. On January 26, 2026, while jointly commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 1986 Sarbat Khalsa, the groups announced their intent to draft and release a formal policy framework on April 29 to outline their ideological stance and future roadmap.
