Chandigarh: Shocks of earthquake were felt in northern regions of the Indian subcontinent including Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana Jammu and Kashmir and part of Pakistan.

As per media reports the epicentre of the earthquake was located in Hindu-kush region of the Afghanistan.

The shocks were felt around 16:15 hrs IST and lasted for few seconds. No damages to buildings etc were reported in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi or Jammu and Kashmir till the time of writing this report.
