New Delhi, India: The dynamics of electoral politics witnessed major change in currently after former IPS officer Kiran Bedi joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). She is declared as Hindutva body’s Chief Ministerial candidate against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Political analysts are of the view that Kiran Bedi’s decision to joined BJP has shattered “many worries” of the saffron party, but it has added to the AAP’s challenges.

With a view to counter the “Kiran impact” that is likely to harm AAP’s prospects in Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has invited Kiran Bedi for “Open Public Debate”.

Arvind Kejriwal congratulated Kiran Bedi for being nominated as Chief Ministerial candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and invited her for open public debate.

“.@thekiranbedi: congrats 4 being nominated as BJP’s CM candidate. I invite u 4 a public debate moderated by neutral person n telecast by all” Arvind Kejriwal (@arvindkejriwal) wrote on micro blogging website Twitter.

Soon after that Arvind Kejriwal wrote another Tweet asking Kiran Bedi to unblock him on Twitter.

“.@thekiranbedi Kiranji, i used to follow u on twitter. Now, u have blocked me on twitter. Kindly unblock me.”, Kejriwal tweeted.

It is notable that Kiran Bedi had rejected AAP’s offer to declare her as Delhi CM candidate in August 2013 saying: “I treat all such suggestions and offers with respect and gratitude. I also understand fully the possible reasons of their requests. But I am unable to accept them as I am by nature a non-political person” (August 28, 2013; FirstPost).
