On November 2, 2024, the Panth Sewak Collective organized a Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Thara Shaib, Patshahi Chhevin (6th), Ayali Kalan, Ludhiana, to mark the 40th anniversary of the November 1984 genocide. During the event, Dr. Sikandar Singh, Punjabi Department, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib delivered his speech analyzing the impact of event of June and November 1984 on India-Sikh relations.
