Chandigarh: It is learnt that the Punjab and Haryana High Court today granted bail to Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) leader Resham Singh, who is a resident of California, USA. He was arrested from Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi on his arrival on November 04.
He was granted bail by High Court judge MMS Bedi in a sedition case registered against him at Chattiwind police station in relation to Chabba village Panthic gathering of November 10, 2015.
In pursuance to today’s bail order S. Resham Singh is expected to be released in coming days.
