Panth Sewak Jatha Doaba is holding a series of event to mark 100 years of Babbar Akali Movement that had challenged British Rule in Punjab and made efforts to revive the Sarkar-e-Khalsa, or the Sikh rule.
Addressing fifth event in this series held on March 24, 2022 at Village Gulpur in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, Bhai Kanwaljit Singh, principal of Sri Guru Angad Dev College Khadoor Sahib, explained that how British colonizers replaced indigenous system with modern system in colonized territories to justify and strengthen political subjugation of conquered people.
